京都 Kyoto

These are some more pics from Kyoto. We made our way up a hill just before the sun set and we saw a pagota in the mist that was close but also far away. Beth finally got a great shot of a heron (?) in the river. I stole the idea for the Kyoto Tower in the relection of the train station from the Lonely Planet. Nijo Castle is quite impressive, this shot is just the corner gaurd house.
