乗り物 Vehicles

Mopeds, Cars, and Trucks

There are some really interesting vehicles in Japan that would never pass US crash-test standards. The three wheeled mopeds with a cover and small cargo area are among my favorite. These are very popular with the delivery guys. I really like the one passenger cars, which are really just the next size up from the moped. They have a spare tire in front, a seat for the driver, and a reasonably large trunk big enough for another passenger if needed. The most common utility vehicle is a small pickup truck that has sides that fold down in addition to the tail gate. Why haven't the truck people in the US made these?
